Mercedes Benz of Valencia – Unsung Heroes

Mercedes Benz Unsung HeroesMercedes-Benz of Valencia and KHTS are taking a positive spin with a new feature focusing on those individuals who make a difference to our quality of life here in the Santa Clarita Valley. “Santa Clarita’s Unsung Heroes," brought to you by your friends at Mercedes-Benz of Valencia, focuses the spotlight on those working behind the scenes who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty and make the impossible a reality.

Whether they are volunteering for a non-profit that builds homes for our local vets or a student raising money for their school’s library, KHTS will be interviewing the people that make the Santa Clarita Valley so extraordinary.

Sue Reynolds, Super-Volunteer, Is A Santa Clarita Unsung Hero

    Mercedes-Benz of Valencia

Sue Reynolds of NewMarket CareersBy Stephen K. Peeples

As a senior partner with Valencia-based NewMarket Careers, Sue Reynolds is an accomplished small business owner who helps Santa Clarita Valley employees and the companies who need them find each other.

But outside her role as a mover and shaker in the Santa Clarita business community, Reynolds is a super-volunteer, although she would never refer to herself that way. She’s more comfortable with something like “professional busybody.”

The Newhall resident devotes untold hours to a wide range of local nonprofit organizations and service groups. She’s involved with myriad women’s issues, business education, veterans’ issues, the Boy Scouts, animal training for therapy and search and rescue, and much more.

That’s why Sue Reynolds is KHTS’s latest Santa Clarita Unsung Hero, brought to you by Mercedes-Benz of Valencia.

Rusty George Of Real Life Church Named A Santa Clarita Unsung Hero

Real Life Church Lead Pastor Rusty George

    By Stephen K. Peeples

Rusty George, as lead pastor for the Real Life Church in Valencia since 2003, has assembled like-spirited staff and built an entire faith-based community around the church that’s involved in all kinds of community outreach that makes a positive difference in the Santa Clarita Valley.

George does it not for fame or fortune, but because it’s his calling, and that’s why he’s AM 1220 KHTS’s latest Santa Clarita Unsung Hero, brought to you by Mercedes-Benz of Valencia.
