Long Beach Man Dies On Pearblossom Highway
Alcohol may have been a factor in collision.
A Long Beach man died Friday morning after a collision on Pearblossom Highway.
Erick Galdamez, 29, was driving his 1998 Toyota Tacoma eastbound on State Route 138 near 300th Street West when he attempted to pass a big rig and collided with the left front of a utility truck driven by Roberto Pereira, 52, of Lancaster.
Neither Pereira or his two passengers were injured; Galdamez died at the scene. CHP officials said that alcohol may have been a factor in the collision.
