Local Pilates Expert Summoned By National TV Special
Pilates Teck featured in public program.
When Karena Thek Lineback first penned her book,
Osteopilates, she launched her line of work into the spotlight, and began to
open new doors for her clients.
The study of Osteopilates looks into how a number of factors
can increase bone density, and decrease the risk of fracture.
Millions of Americans suffer from low bone density, and
Lineback's book targets four ways to better their situation. Targeted exercise and
everyday living make up one important step, followed by postural awareness,
diet and proper medication.
The success of Lineback's method most recently brought nationally
syndicated Public Television into town to film segments of their upcoming
program "Pilates for Every Body," which will air nationally in June.

The focus of the show is to identify how people with different
ailments can still be healthy.
"The special was directly aimed at the people who, in the past,
may have thought that exercise could not benefit them because maybe they have a
weak back, maybe they have pain in their knees and they just thought ‘oh, no,
this is going to hurt,'" Lineback said.
