For the NASCAR CITGO Lubricants Late Models, Saturday’s twin 35 lap features will mark rounds three and four of their 2014 championship campaign.  Brian Richardson swept the opening weekend of the CITGO Late Model competition during Monster Night on April 12, but was challenged by both Lance Wilson and cousin Eric Richardson in both races.

Rookie Buddy Shepherd and sophomore driver Cole Adamo of Taft both scored top-fives in each Twin 35 that night as well.

NASCAR Spec Modified action continued to see 2013 champion Chris Dalton ahead of the pack, but not after a long battle with upstart Jim Coffey.  Coffey will eye his first series win in Saturday’s 30 lap race.

On the quarter-mile, the NASCAR Mini Stocks will see Randy Smith and Racin Vernon looking for redemption, after both drivers lost their leads in Saturday’s division opener due to unfortunate circumstances.  2014 race #1 winner Dylan Baker will have a target on his back in the 30 lap main.

A pair of first time KCRP race winners – Eric Olson and Brandon Weaver – have split the INEX Legends races so far, while the INEX Bandoleros have been swept by 2013 champion Tyler Bannister.  Legends will race for 30 laps this week with a 25 lap Bandolero event scheduled.
