The sounds of live jazz and blues bands will continue to fill Town Center Drive in front of the Hyatt Valencia every Friday night from 7 to 9:30 p.m. through September 5.  The series features regional, national and international entertainers in a quaint street party setting while offering interactive activities for adults and children. Admission is free.

The exciting lineup of recording artists for the rest of the series are:

·         August 1 – Lightnin’ Willie & the Poorboys

·         August 8  – Lori Andrews JazHarp Quartet

·         August 15 – Tom Nolan

·         August 22 – Teresa James & the Rhythm Tramps

·         August 29 – The Delgado Brothers

·         September 5 – Michael John & the Bottom Line

The city’s Parkmobile will be one of several activities offered for young jazz enthusiasts during the series. Food and beverages will also be offered from select vendors during the event. No pets or outside food or beverages are allowed.

Continuing the tradition of supporting SCV’s local charities, a portion of the weekly sales from the beverage bar, hosted by the SCV Chamber of Commerce, will be donated to a local non-profit organization.  Over the past 10 years, nearly 30 different charitable organizations have benefited from this program.

Keyes Lexus of Valencia continues as the title sponsor of the series.  Some of the series sponsors include KHTS AM1220, Princess Cruises, Lennar, Newhall Land, The City of Santa Clarita, Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce, Advantage Disposal & Recycling Services, Margo, The Magazine of Santa Clarita, Elite Magazine, Inside SCV Magazine and The Signal.
