The event will feature a 'light show in paintings,' exploring the myriad sources, effects, and contexts of light. Various pieces will feature sunsets, neon light, street lights, Christmas lights, candlelight, the Northern Lights, city lights, light from a hilltop, traffic lights, pumpkin lights, lightning, Hanukkah lights, menorahs, and light bulbs. Subjects will be rendered in oils, watercolor, acrylic, sculpture, mixed media, and photography.

Art is available for purchase throughout the exhibit, which will be open from November 21 to December 18.

Tesoro Adobe Historic Park was once the home of Harry Carey, Jr., Western actor of the 1920s and 30s, and is located at 29350 on Avenida Rancho Tesoro off of Copper Hill Drive. Donated to LA County in 2005, the park now offers a glimpse into the area's history. The 2-acre park houses nine historical adobe buildings and many artifacts of the 1930s.
