On Wednesday, November 18, the Westfield Valencia Town Center will celebrate the opening of several new shops and restaurants in their new section called "The Patios."
While a portion of The Patios is still under construction, several new businesses are ready to open their doors. Additional businesses will continue to open throughout the next year.

The design behind The Patios expansion includes 234,000 square feet, along with open-air elements, landscaping, sparkling water features, community fireplaces, verandas and ‘al fresco' style dining.
The following new stores and restaurants are set to open in 2009:
Aveda Salon Opening in December.
BCBG Max Azria Opening on November 18.
Brighton Collectibles Opening on November 18.
Dinks NY Deli Opening in late December.
En Ciel Jewelry Opening on November 18.
Lazy Dog Café Opening in late November.
Menchies Opening in December.
Parc 81 Opening on November 18.
Tonalita Opening November 18.
Tous Opening on November 18.
Yankee Candle Opening on November 18.
"Beginning with the debut of Shops at The Patios, followed by the progression of new store arrivals this fall, winter and phased through 2010, Westfield Valencia Town Center continues to position itself as the premiere shopping destination in the region. This project illustrates our commitment to community, and to delivering the most exciting retail and dining options, as well as iconic fashion and beauty brands," said Larry Green, Senior Vice President of Development with Westfield. "The fresh mix of locally owned shops and national retail leaders will continue to energize the center." Green adds.
When complete next fall, planners hope that the $100 million project will add up to $1 million annually in new sales tax revenues to the City of Santa Clarita.
The commitment has also been echoed by Macy's, who recently completed a 55,000 square foot expansion that included a comprehensive interior remodel and several expanded departments including women's shoes.
Additionally, several other national retailers have recently opened new locations at Westfield Valencia Town Center, including Forever 21, Vans, Blue Pink, J.Ferrer and Chipotle.
