The KHTS Fire Truck is a mint condition 1948 Mack Fire Truck. Not only does it stand out in a crowd, kids love to climb on-board, clang the bell, and turn on the siren.
The moment takes on a lasting impression, when the kids (and grown kids) put on real fire fighter clothes and get their picture taken in full gear. We’ll photograph the kids, and allow them to download their picture for free on our website, www.hometownstation.com.

Whether its delivering Santa in the annual Westfield Valencia Town Center Christmas Parade, visiting our Santa Clarita Elementary Schools along with our other First Responders for a “Safety Patrol,” or driving traffic to a retail grand opening, anniversary or special event the KHTS Fire Truck is part of a powerful marketing tool that will establish your event as a cut above the rest.

KHTS Mack Fire Truck Remote Broadcast Events
KHTS AM-1220 will drive traffic by creating an event for our listeners at your business. Along with the KHTS Fire Truck appearing, our on-air broadcast will add further impact at your event.
As part of our remote package, you shall receive:
- (96) :30 second commercials, aired prior to your event. – (Mon-Sun 5a-Mid)
- (4) 3-minute on-air interviews in AM & PM drive time prior to event.
- 4-Hour Remote Broadcast during event, including 16 (3-minute) interviews, hundreds of dollars in prize giveaways, and numerous mentions throughout the broadcast.
- The KHTS website, www.hometownstation.com receives over 50,000 page views a day (a page view is like the one you are reading now, this is one page view).
As a sponsor, your business shall receive banner ads on the fire truck picture web page, highlighting your event. Your page will be accessed many times as parents visit to download the free pictures of their kids who have climbed on board our firetruck.

KHTS Mac Fire Truck Christmas Holiday Tour
Over the years, the KHTS Firetruck has earned over $250,000.00 for Santa Clarita non-profits. KHTS donates the Firetruck to select local charities as an auction item for their fundraisers. 100% of the gross revenues are donated back to the charity.
KHTS picks up the winner, along with their family and friends, up to 16 people and drives them on a two-hour tour of the Christmas tree lights throughout the Santa Clarita Valley.
Santa Clarita is known for having some of the most spectacularly decorated neighborhoods during the holiday season. We’ll drive through the award winning neighborhoods, decorated in the most wonderful traditions, as you and your friends experience this holiday tour in a most unique and fun fashion.
The truck will be displayed with Christmas lights. Christmas music will play throughout our surround sound system. You and your family will have a holiday experience of a lifetime.
About the KHTS Fire Truck
America’s most famous manufacturer of fire apparatus, Mack Trucks of Allentown, Pennsylvania began building fire trucks around 1911. Over the years, these beautiful fire engines, bearing the trademark, “Bull Dog”, proved to be as tough and reliable as the saying, “Built like a Mack Truck” indicates.
Thousands of these classic trucks served firefighters throughout the nation over the years. Mack stopped making custom trucks in 1990, to the dismay of Mack fans.
The KHTS Fire Truck is a 1948 “Cape Cod” Mack Fire Truck, used for five decades by firefighters in the small town of Palmyra, New Jersey, a Philadelphia suburb. Imagine firefighters racing to a fire in the frigid cold of the East Coast! It was retired from service in the ‘70’s. Palmyra converted it into a “Parade Truck.”
An Atlanta tour company purchased the truck in the ‘90’s. They gave tours of old town Atlanta. In 2003, Dr. Ron Singer, the well known, Santa Clarita pediatric dentist, purchased the truck for his personal enjoyment and collection. Over the years, he generously loaned the truck to KHTS on many occasions. In 2006, KHTS purchased the fire truck from Dr. Singer so Santa Clarita residents could enjoy and learn more about this historical vehicle.
