    Last weekend we had friends over for dinner. I wanted to use the sweet corn I had in the refrigerator, but I didn’t want to serve corn on the cob. So I decided to make corn soup.

    I have never made it before and tried to keep it simple using ingredients that I had on hand. Well, it turned out to be a great soup so I thought I would share the recipe with my KHTS friends

    Are you thinking that this is a ridiculously long name for an appetizer? Or, oh no, she’s using plums again! Well, ok I really do love plums, but you can use peaches instead of the plums if you like.

    I developed this recipe last summer and everyone liked it. You can serve this as an appetizer or as a unique dessert.

    Wandering around the COC Farmer’s Market on Sunday morning is a lovely experience. The breeze has a hint of cool which is unusual for this time of year and I love it!

    Some of my favorite aromas fill the air, fresh brewed espresso, flowers and strawberries. If you blindfolded me I could find the strawberries, their sweet fragrance engulfs me as I walk by.
