As a busy mom, I appreciate one bowl recipes. If I get up the energy to cook from scratch, cleaning up the kitchen after seems daunting. This recipe mixes all the ingredients in one bowl – saving dish-washing time. They are so delicious and very easy to make. Have fun and enjoy!

In the microwave set on high, cook the Baker’s chocolate, the butter and the sugar in a glass bowl for one minute. Take out and stir. Cook for another 15, stir. And continue in 15 second increments until all the chocolate is melted and the butter, sugar and chocolate are nicely combined together.
Add the eggs, vanilla, flour and baking powder and mix. Add the nuts (optional) and the chips and mix until combined. Drop by 1/4 cup-fuls on a greased cookie sheet or a cookie sheet covered with a Silpat (baking mat) or parchment paper. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-13 minutes.
Do not over cook or else the cookies will be crunchy, not soft. Cool on the cookie sheet for one minute and then transfer to a wire baking rack to cool completely. Enjoy!! Makes about 18 large cookies.
