Wind advisories expire in late afternoon hours.

For several days in Santa Clarita the sunshine has been deceiving
as strong, cold winds have bombarded the area.
At well over 20 mph, the winds kicked up dirt, caused
problems for people with allergies and dried out the air.
The weather forecast for the rest of the week looks remarkably
better, as the winds are expected to calm down this afternoon.
By tomorrow the relative humidity should rise from 11% to 30%,
bringing some relief for allergy sufferers while still providing plenty of sunshine
and temperatures in the mid-70's.
