With three games left in the Foothill League season, it looks like
Golden Valley , Hart and West Ranch will earn automatic playoff berths. The top three teams in the league will advance to postseason.
Golden Valley leads the Foothill League with a 6-1 record. Hart, which beat
Golden Valley last week, is second at 5-2 and West Ranch is 4-3 in league.
On the girls side,
Saugus has a one-game lead over West Ranch and
Valencia in the Foothill League standings.

Valencia on Saturday night. Canyon is at Hart.
Saugus (6-1 in league), West Ranch (5-2 in league) and
Valencia (5-2 in league) are in position to make the playoffs.
The Foothill League regular season ends Feb. 13.
In soccer, the Canyon boys team has a commanding lead in the Foothill League standings. With a 5-1-1 record in league, Canyon can clinch a playoff spot as soon as Tuesday.

The Santa Clarita Christian girls soccer team beat Viewpoint, 3-0, on Thursday.
In college baseball, the second day of the Western State Conference tournament at College of the Canyons was rained out Thursday. Barring any further rain delays, the tournament is scheduled to resume today with College of the Canyons facing L.A.Harbor at The Cougars played to an 8-8 tie against El Camino College on Wednesday, the first day of the tournament.
