On Monday, March 31, 2008, SCAA Paint Out will be at the College Of The Canyons new Canyon Country campus Amphitheater.  The campus is perched on the edge of the canyon that overlooks Sierra Highway.  Standing on the rim of the Amphitheater looking north, there is a view of the wilderness, mountains and vast skies, which are representative of Canyon Country.  Looking south the landscape offers up rolling hills covered in the green velvet of spring.  Also in the area are earthmovers, students reading and campus buildings casting shadows on concrete paths, all will create opportunities for works of art.

The COC Canyon Country campus is located at 17200 Sierra Highway, Canyon Country, CA 91351. The Artists Association will be there from 9:00a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Parking Instructions:  When you drive up the hill, enter the first parking lot for student parking.  Park where you can and go to the Administration office, which is in Quad 1, right at the edge of the parking lot, to pick up a free parking pass from Jamie Milteer.  This will allow you to park in the lot while you paint.  There is a ramp up to the Amphitheater if you have a cart.  If you miss the parking lot, you can drive down the hill, as if leaving the campus and turn left where it says return to campus.  If you have any questions or need more information call Laura Wambsgans at 661 259-0696 or email wambsgans@pacbell.net
