Family Promise - April 29, 2013
Family Promise discussed their events coming up this year which will be highlighted by Box City. Participants set a goal to raise $100 in pledges and contributions and sleep overnight in a cardboard box “home” as a resident of Box City. The event raises awareness of the many homeless families in our own community, and raises money to support Family Promise of SCV. There will be bands, activities, entertainment, and free food for participants. Those who raise $100 will also receive a free Box City t-shirt. Students under the age of 18 need a chaperone for their group.
