"Could-be Vice President" Mitt Romney Heading Back To SCV

Former presidential candidate will help raise money for Buck McKeon.

Last time Mitt Romney was in Santa Clarita he was asking for our support in his bid to become the next President of the United States. This time around, he’s asking us to re-elect Buck McKeon to Congress.

 

After McKeon’s staunch support of Romney during the presidential primaries, Romney is returning the favor by attending a fundraising event for McKeon on July 1st at a private home in Santa Clarita.

 

 

Tickets are $100 per person for the event, where patrons will be able to visit with Romney and McKeon.

Even though Romney will not be our next president, he is believed to be on the very short list of vice-president candidates for John McCain.
