West Nile Found In Two Saugus Women
A Saugus woman has survived a mild form of West Nile virus, and the disease has been detected among mosquitoes in a stagnant pool of water in Castaic, officials said Thursday.
Meanwhile, another case of possible West Nile virus has been detected in an 18-year-old Saugus woman. The teenager was told she has the virus, her mother said, but a spokeswoman at Kaiser Permanente said definitive results of the tests on Nicole Genovese would not be available until next week.
