Taking Graffiti into Their Own Hands
The orders of the day Sunday for Boy Scouts and volunteers will be to battle graffiti and revitalize the big “S” above Saugus High School. They will be armed with lots of paint.
Some apparent frustration is associated with the job, given that a Department of Water and Power pipeline near the school has been defaced twice in recent weeks, once after a paint job by the DWP, a sheriff’s deputy said.
