Storms Strike SCV

Local residents woke up to flashes of lightning & roars of thunder early Monday as a storm brought downpours & reports of power outages in parts of Santa Clarita.

National Weather Service Specialist Stewart Seto said a low-pressure system coupled with moisture in the air created the uncommon but not unheard-of storm.
