State Route 138 Lane Closures for Paving, 9/11 – 9/15; Delays Expected
East of Gorman -- As part of a five-mile asphalt paving project, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform lane closures on eastbound and westbound State Route 138 from 280th Street West to Old Ridge Route Road, about five miles east of Gorman.
During the following hours, one lane of State Route 138 will be open and will be utilized for both eastbound and westbound traffic, alternately. Motorists may experience delays of up to 30 minutes.
· Daily, Monday, September 11 through Friday, September 15, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Flaggers will be on site to assist motorists. Closures are weather-permitting and subject to change. Estimated cost of this improvement project is $800,000. Estimated completion is mid-September, 2006.
