My name is Julie Torgerson and I go to Newhall Elementary School in the Newhall School District.

I’ll be reviewing A Series of Unfortunate Events.

This story is about the rich Baudelaire children, Violet, Sunny and Klaus. When their parents die in a fire, Mr. Poe, the executor of their parents’ estate keeps their parents’ fortune safe. Then he takes them to their new legal guardian, Count Olaf. Violet, the oldest Baudelaire doesn’t get the fortune until she come of age. Count Olaf tries deceptive techniques to get his hands on the Baudelaire fortune but doesn’t succeed.
