SANTA CLARITA YMCA & SAUGUS ACTION COMMITTEE PRESENT ANNUAL EGGSTRAVAGANZA

The Saugus Action Committee and the Santa Clarita YMCA are proud to present their annual Eggstravaganza celebration!

The family-oriented event is a celebration of springtime, complete with a traditional “Egg Scramble” egg hunt. There is no admission fee and no pre-registration is required. The whole family is encouraged to attend! The Eggstravaganza will be held Saturday March 26, 2005 at 10:00 a.m.

Locations at three separate parks throughout the Santa Clarita Valley will ensure that everyone has the opportunity to participate. The Santa Clarita YMCA is sponsoring two programs, one at Canyon Country Park, located at 17615 Soledad Canyon Road, and one at Valencia Glen Park, located at 23750 Via Gavola. A third program will be held at Central Park, located at 27150 Bouquet Canyon Road, and is sponsored by the Saugus Action Committee.

Each egg hunt begins promptly at 10:00 a.m., so families are encouraged to bring their baskets and arrive early. Each park will feature the same activities, so families can attend at any of the three facilities. All three egg hunts will also be divided into areas according to age groups (from 1-10 years), so that all children will have a fun and fair time.

“This year we decided to get more involved in community events as a way to reach out to residents and businesses,” said Mark Weiss Sr., Saugus Action Committee Chairperson. “We are so excited to be able to provide the children in our community with the opportunity to participate in such a time-honored tradition as an egg hunt.”
