Route 66 After Party Draws Thousands
The Love Ride After party at Route 66 grill in Canyon country drew thousands of patrons last night.
The party included food and drinks, as well as a stunt motorcycle show by Monty Perlin, and performances from the Dallas Hodge band and Canned Heat. A percentage of the earnings from the show went to the Love Ride foundation, which donates to a number of charities.
The parking lot of Route 66 was transformed into a parade of motorcycles, and held a stage where Dallas Hodge kicked off the party with a rockin’ sort of blues that turned a standing room only crowd into a dancing room only crowd.
Canned Heat was next on the bill, and warmed up the night with their own brand of classic blues.
Route 66 also hosts biker nights every Wednesday, and while the crowds may not be quite as big, they’re always good for food, fun and music.
