A pursuit of a stolen limo bus out of San Diego passed through the Santa Clarita Valley Tuesday afternoon before ending in a crash in the Antelope Valley.
Around 12 p.m. Tuesday, officers with the California Highway Patrol, (CHP) Newhall Area Office took over a pursuit that began south of the Santa Clarita Valley, according to officials.
“We are in pursuit of a stolen limo bus,” said Officer Josh Greengard, spokesperson for the CHP Newhall Area Office.
The limo bus was stolen out of the San Diego area, according to officials.
Multiple divisions of the CHP pursued the vehicle on the northbound 405 Freeway through Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley.
Newhall area CHP officers took over the pursuit once the chase entered the northbound 5 Freeway near the 210 Freeway.
The pursuit exited the 14 Freeway at Angeles National Forest Highway before ending in a crash at Angeles Forest and Sierra Highways in Palmdale, according to officials.
