Polar Bears Past Bedtime by Adrianna Perez

Good morning KHTS listeners.

Hi, my name is Adrianna Perez and I am a 4th grader in Mrs. Drew and Mrs. Morales’ class at Valley View Community Elementary School in the Sulphur Springs School District.

I’ll be reviewing Polar Bears Past Bedtime, written and illustrated by Mary Pope Osborne.  It was written in 1998 and is 71 pages long.

This book is about a boy named Jack and a girl named Annie who took a big adventure to Antarctica to find a riddle.  The riddle is “I cover what’s real and hide what’s true.  But sometimes I bring out the courage in you”.  What am I?

I like this book because I like to take adventures around my house on my bike just like Jack and Annie do with their tree house.  You should read this book if you like adventures and riddles or maybe just like the series  “Magic Tree House”.
