Monster Mash Alley Dedicated to Bobby “Boris” Pickett

Kicking off an annual Halloween charity event, a legion of community leaders will dedicate a brand new Santa Clarita street, Monster Mash Alley, to Bobby “Boris” Pickett at the opening of Molar Manor, in Santa Clarita.
When: Saturday, October 22nd at 7:00 pm
Where: Molar Manor (Haunted House)
27820 Fremont Court
Valencia, CA. 91355
Molar Manor is a 5,000 square foot haunted maze that will put a chill in the bones of the thousands of local residents who dare to walk through. The interactive lights, sounds and special effects are unsurpassed anywhere else in the country. Created by a local pediatric dentist, Dr. Ron and Rachel Singer, Molar Manor has become a major Santa Clarita Halloween attraction.
Bobby “Boris” Pickett released the song, “Monster Mash,” in 1962 when it became a #1 hit in just eight short weeks. The song has hit the Billboard Top 100 three separate times. It has since become the anthem for Halloween.
Pickett will perform his classic immediately following the presentation by the Mayor. A local youth dance troupe will be performing the “Monster Mash Ballet” while Pickett performs his hit. Local radio station AM-1220, KHTS will broadcast the ceremony. Other local dignitaries and goblins will be on hand.
All proceeds from the event raise funds and awareness for three local charities: The Foundation for Children’s Dental Health, CLEAR (Community Law Enforcement and Aware Response), and CLASS (The Children’s Liver Association for Support Services).
Molar Manor will remain open on Saturday, October 22, from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm, and on Sunday, October 23, from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm. A reasonably priced food court is offered.
Tickets are $12.00 and are available at the door or on line at For further information, visit, or call (661) 259-6142.
