Midnight For Charlie Bone By Adam Mehlman
Good morning KHTS listeners.
Hi, my name Adam Mehlman and I am a 4th grader in Ms. Fayne’s class at Valley View Community Elementary School in the Sulphur Springs School District.
I’ll be reviewing Midnight for Charlie Bone, by Jenny Nimmo. It was written in 2002 and it’s 401 pages long.
This book is about a boy named Charlie Bone who finds out he has a magical power. He has three really mean aunts and a super-mean grandmother. He thinks his dad is dead – but is he?
He has to find a baby who was swapped for a mysterious case, only now that baby is a girl his age. When his magical power is discovered, he has to go to a special boarding school, where he meets new friends, other people with special powers, and some evil enemies.
This book is great! It’s full of adventure, mystery and suspense. It’s also a little bit scary, so you may want to go to sleep with the light on. I recommend it to everybody who’s brave enough to read it.
