Metrolink Toy Train Lights Up Newhall

On Friday night, at the Newhall Metrolink station, the Metrolink Toy Train tooted its horn and rolled in, much to the delight of the hundreds of kids in attendance. This is not the first year Metrolink has put on its traveling show, but it has been revamped, and is now a little bit bigger.

The train is fully decorated in lights and props, my personal favorite being the singing reindeer. There is also a short show, and this year Pirate themes took that over.

All in all, it was a fun night. Just to see something as big as a Metrolink train dressed up in holiday festivity is neat in its own right. But between the show, and the firefighters collecting toys, the whole package on this night was well worth it.
