Man Dies after Suffering Heart Attack in Car

A 49-year-old Saugus man died Tuesday after he suffered a heart attack behind the wheel of his car, crashing his vehicle into six other cars on The Old Road in Newhall, a California Highway Patrol officer said

Michael Noble was apparently experiencing heart attack symptoms when he lost control of his red 1993 Honda del Sol and rear-ended a tan 1995 Toyota Tacoma pickup driven by George Person of Castaic at about 7:45 a.m., said CHP Officer Alex Delvillar.
“Traffic was backed up because of a movie shoot ahead,” Delvillar said. “(Noble) rear-ended the car, backed up and rear-ended three more cars as he was convulsing inside the car. For some reason, he put (the car) in reverse instead of park.”
The crash occurred on The Old Road south of Gavin Canyon.
As Noble backed up, he sideswiped a tan 2000 Toyota Camry driven by Carolyn Morrow, a gray 2001 Toyota Camry driven by Vincent Jain, and a black 1990 Toyota Tacoma driven by Jennifer Horvell, all of Santa Clarita.
Putting the car in drive, Noble then hit a 2003 Pontiac Aztek driven by Lobarbio Nesjon of Burbank and a white 1995 BMW 535i driven by David Nguyen of Santa Clarita.
All six of the cars hit by Noble had minor to moderate damage, and Noble’s Honda was totaled, Delvillar said.
No one, including Noble, suffered injuries from the low-speed crash
