Lockheed Federal Player of the Week

Congratulation Shane Vereen of Valencia High School for being selected as “Player of the Week".                                                                                                                                

Viking running back Shane Vereen scored three touchdowns in a come-from-behind victory against Burroughs in Valencia's first Foothill League game.  Vereen ran 33 yards for his first touchdown late in the first half.  On the Vikings first drive in the second half, Vereen ran up the middle from the 20 yard line for another touchdown.  The junior running back rushed for 199 yards on 22 carries.

For his efforts, Lockheed Federal Credit Union will donate $250 to the Valencia High School booster club.
