Local Driver Starts Short Pursuit

Deputies noticed the reckless driver at about 4:08 pm near Soledad Canyon Road and Luther Road. The woman failed to yield when the deputies attempted to pull her over, and the pursuit began, leading them on a chase throughout Canyon Country and Newhall.
In the interest of safety, deputies bowed out of the pursuit. An investigation is pending, and anyone with information on the case is asked to call the Santa Clarita Substation at 255-1121.
