Late Night Parties Still Feeling The Heat

Two incidents end in arrest over the weekend

In the first incident, Deputies respond to resident's complaint of a loud party and teenage drinking. Two Deputies arrested a Stevenson Ranch man after he reportedly hosted a large party in the 25200 block of Sagecrest Circle.

There, they reported that the suspect allegedly provided alcohol to minors. The suspect, was booked at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station on misdemeanor charges of Loud an Unreasonable Noise and Providing Alcoholic Beverages to Minors. He was later released on citation pending future court proceedings.

The second incident happened in Canyon Country at 3:40 in the morning.

A Deputy arrested a twenty two year old and a twenty one year old, both of the same last name, after responding for a second time to complaints of loud noise and drinking at a residence in the 26800 block of Madigan Drive.

Deputies had responded to the same location earlier in the evening and issued warnings and citations for loud and unreasonable noise and curfew violations, but the problem failed to stop.

Both suspects were booked at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station on misdemeanor charges of Disturbing the Peace. They were later released on citations pending future court proceedings.

This follows along a line of crackdowns by Deputies responding to house parties. Sheriff’s Captain Anthony La Berge addressed the City Council over a month ago to tell the public that the late night party situation has become an increasing problem in Santa Clarita.
