During the week of April 3^rd, 2006, representatives from Carousel Ranch spent some time at the KHTS Community Resource Station and were featured on the KHTS Non-Profit Spotlight with Janice Murray, sponsored by Valencia Acura. Carousel Ranch, a therapeutic equestrian program for disabled children, combines horsemanship with physical therapy which helps physically and mentally challenged kids build strength, balance and self-esteem. Their fundraising event will be held on April 23^rd, 2006. ‘Day at the Races’, an event for the entire family features the excitement of horseracing along with the fun of a country fair.
