All Santa Clarita Schools are open today, with the exception of Bridgeport Elementary School in the Saugus School District.

Hart High School is open. The Red Cross has their Emergency Evacuation Center set up in the gymnasium.

All High Schools, Junior Highs, College of the Canyons and Elementary Schools in the Santa Clarita Valley are open. Except for Bridgeport Elementary School. Bridgeport experienced a gas leak. Gas was shut off. There will be no school there today.

Helmers Elementary School is open, despite a power outage earlier this morning. Power has been restored and Helmers will be open today.

School Buses are running, but later than usual. If you have a road closure, there will not be any school bus service.

For those attending the Sulphur Springs schools, buses are running, slower than usual. No bus service on Sierra Highway, north of Mint Canyon School. No bus service on Vasquez and Placerita Canyons.

All Schools in Agua Dulce, Acton, Palmdale and Lancaster are closed, including all Elementary, Junior High and High Schools. Lancaster elementary schools are closed.
