King Arthur by Andrew F. MacArthur
Good morning KHTS listeners.
Hi, my name is Andrew F. MacArthur and I am a fourth grader at Oak Hills Elementary School in the Newhall School District.
I'll be reviewing King Arthur, written by Jane B. Mason and illustrated by Sarah Hines Stephens. It was written in 2003 and is 131 pages long.
King Arthur is about a boy whose parents die and Arthur becomes king of Britain at a very young age by being the only person able to pull a sword out from a stone. Arthur's life, as king, is one full of adventure, difficulties and many hard decisions. He is loved by his knights of the round table and the countrymen. He has a successful reign as king.
I like the book, King Arthur, because it teaches that making the right decision isn't easy all the time, but it is the right thing to do!
Young and old readers will like this book, if they enjoy magic, battles with knights, adventures and truth that prevails.
