KHTS & SCV Chamber Support City Council Incumbants

City Council Elections are tomorrow, Tuesday, April 11th. We urge you to vote.

KHTS AM-1220 and the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce are endorsing the three incumbant City Council members, Laurene Weste, Frank Ferry and Marsha McLean. Polls are open between 7am and 8pm.

Eleven candidates are vying for three positions. If you live within the City limits of Santa Clarita, you may vote for up to three candidates.

That means we could have a majority shift in the make up of our five-member city council. This would not be a good thing for Santa Clarita. Our three incumbents, Laurene Weste, Frank Ferry and Marsha McLean, have successfully been guiding our City through many obstacles. The Cross Valley connector, the battle against Cemex, our park and recreation expansion, programs for our children. Santa Clarita is a testament to local government at its best, working effectively and more importantly, listening to our concerns and desires. The efforts of  Weste, Ferry and McLean prove they truly care about the future of our Valley. They are passionate and visionary. They want what’s best for us and they are willing to listen. We urge you, on April 11th, vote for Laurene Weste, Marsha McLean and Frank Ferry.
