Jack McClellan Out Of Jail
LA City Attorney drops all charges against him.
Jack McClellan has been freed from jail, because Los Angeles prosecutors are questioning the viability of the temporary restraining order that McClellan allegedly violated.
According to the Associated Press, prosecutors worried about the statewide temporary restraining order that was placed on McClellan two weeks ago that restricted him from being within 30 feet of any minor child. Apparently, they did not feel that McClellan was properly served with the order, and they were worried because another hearing was not set up to argue it.
So now, all charges of violating the restraining order have been dropped, along with a trespassing charge.
McClellan had been arrested for trespassing and violating his restraining order on the campus of UCLA one week ago.
But the fight may not be over, as Assemblyman Cameron Smyth is moving forward with his plans to introduce emergency legislation that would make a change in the penal code to address so called “surrogate stalkers.” That change would make it illegal to compile information for pedophiles to use. One could argue that McClellan has been doing that for a long time on his website, which lists good places in LA County to view pre pubescent girls.
Currently, McClellan claims to have taken down his site.
