Northpark Church

The William S. Hart Park and Museum will be featured on Huell Howser’s series, California’s Golden Parks, on Thursday, July 26th at 7:30 pm on KCET.  Be sure to view Huell Howser’s show to see why he named the William S. Hart Park & Museum as one of California’s Golden Parks.

The show airs locally on KCET at 7:30 pm this Thursday

The William S. Hart Museum was the retirement mansion of William S. Hart, famed Western silent screen actor. Museum guests can view Hart’s collection of Native American artifacts, Western artwork (including work by Charles Russell, Frederic Remington, and James Montgomery Flagg), movie paraphernalia, and original furnishings.  Guests are invited to visit the museum collection, park grounds, nature trails, herd of bison, and animal barnyard.

Tours of the William S. Hart Museum are currently provided Wednesday through Sunday from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm.  Tours begin every 30 minutes.  Reservations are required for groups of 10 or more and for groups with special needs.  Admission to the museum is free.

Please note that guests are required to park their vehicles in the lower region of the William S. Hart Park and walk up the hill to the Museum.  Guests who are unable to walk up the hill are welcome to contact the Museum Office for other accommodations by calling (661) 254-4584.
