Wrapping up the weekend’s football action, the Cardinals of Santa Clarita Christian destroyed San Diego Lutheran 74 to 28.  The game was called after the Cardinals scored on the first play of the 4th quarter.  That play put them over the 45 point mercy rule.  Quarterback Collin Keoshian rushed for 3 touchdowns and threw for another.  Garrett Borden also scored 4 touchdowns.

The COC Cougars, behind Fred Winborn’s 272 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns, blew past LA Southwest College 56 to 28.  The win improved COC’s record to 3 -1.

In baseball, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim now have an even longer name, the American League Western Division Champions.  They beat the Seattle Mariners 7 to 4 to clinch the division crown. The Dodgers broke their seven game losing streak with a 7 to 1 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Dodgers return home tomorrow night for their final homestand of the season, as they host the Colorado Rockies.  KHTS will have all of tomorrow night’s action with the first pitch at 7:10, preceded by the pre-game show at 6:30.
