The COC women’s volleyball team earned their first win of the season with a 3 to nothing shutout over Cerritos College.

 

Don’t forget, KHTS will bring you exciting high school football action tomorrow night as the Valencia Vikings face the Birmingham Patriots.  The pre-game show starts at 6:30.  Barry McKeever will have the play-by-play at 7:00, on KHTS AM-1220.

 

Then, on Saturday night the Cougars of COC will host Santa Barbara City College and you can catch all the action on KHTS.  The pre-game show starts at 6:30, with the kickoff at 7.

 

In major league baseball action, the Angels crushed the Baltimore Orioles 18 to 6 and lead the American League West by a whopping 9 and a half games. James Loney went 3 for 4, with a two run homer as the Dodgers beat the San Diego Padres 6 to 1, to pull within 2 and a half games of the wild card. The two teams face off again tonight and KHTS will bring you all of the action with the first pitch scheduled for 7:10, preceded by the pre-game show at 6:30.
