This comes after Arcos plead no contest to two charges of vehicular manslaughter, and a count of being an unlicensed driver. According to the District Attorney’s office, the sentence also had an enhancement because she left the scene of the accident.

The accident happened last August on the I-5 near Valencia Blvd. John Tun, and Thoung Pok of Fresno were changing a tire on the side of the road when Arcos, then 19 and reportedly driving fast, hit the two. Arcos then fled the scene. Tun and Thoung were pronounced dead at the scene.

Arcos, whose father is an LAPD Lieutenant, will also have two strikes on her record.
