Ewart Family Sunday Update

Here’s the latest update on the Ewart Family. In the early morning on Tuesday, December 20th, fire destroyed their Valencia home. Six family members were in the house at the time, three were seriously injured and sent to the Grossman Burn Center.  Since the fire, our Valley has jumped in to assist.  This is the latest update courtesy of neighbors, Josy and Steve Block.

Settle in & make yourselves comfortable, because what you are about to see is going to make you smile, cry and jump for joy!  It would be a disservice for us to add any words to this most amazing blow-by-blow report from Jonathan about his brothers' return home today.  Please click onto his website for an amazing pictorial review of Michael's Homecominghttp://www.geocities.com/fmabbott@sbcglobal.net/ It's like you're there with them every step of the way.  If there are any of Jonathan's teachers out there, we hope you're giving him some A-plusses & extra credit for all his work & effort!!!  Jonathan, we deeply appreciate all your time and extraordinary talent in sharing this website with all of use who care so much for your entire family.  You're an amazing kid!

DAVID - David is progressing nicely and there hasn't been much change since yesterday.  As soon as he is ready for visitors, we will let you know.

*  Oops, we neglected to thank a couple of other folks who unbeknownst to us helped with our immediate needs call yesterday for all the linens to be purchased and laundered.  Gayle Hoover and Michelle Crawford - deep thanks to you for all your efforts.

*  Last night's Scrapbook Event at Old Orchard 2 proved to be a productive evening.  Although the pictures were few, this didn't stop this dynamo of ladies from creating some "blank" uniquely decorated pages for the family to place photos on at a later date.  They went with themes that they know the family has pictures of (i.e. baseball, soccer, Christmas, etc.).  Thank you, Linda Cavataio for organizing this event!
