Edison International has awarded scholarships to four Santa Clarita Valley high school graduates. Each of the scholarships is for $2,500.
Recipients include: Tommy MacLennan Jr. of Saugus High School, an engineering major at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Andrew Sotelo of Saugus High School, a computer science major at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Mathew Terwall of Saugus High School, a business major at the University of California, Santa Barbara. LaKeisha Smith of Valencia High School, a business major at California State University, Northridge.
“Edison International congratulates these outstanding students for their academic achievements,” said Anna Frutos-Sanchez, a public affairs region manager for Southern California Edison, a unit of Edison International. “We consider these grants an excellent investment in the future of our state and feel sure these young people will play an important role in its future.”
