Disabled Actor In The Spotlight

Mayor’s Committee to Laugh with Danny Murphy.

Comedian Danny Murphy, one of Hollywood’s top disabled talents, will be the guest speaker at the March 1 luncheon meeting of the Santa Clarita Valley Mayor’s Committee for Employment of Individuals with Disabilities.

The annual luncheon honors businesses which have offered employment opportunities for the disabled, many of them Hart District students placed through the district’s Career Visions program.

The luncheon will be held at the City’s Activities Center at noon. One drawing winner will be invited to visit on set with the Farrelly Brothers, producers of such comedies as “There’s Something About Mary” and “Shallow Hal.”
