Dennis Prager Coming To Santa Clarita
Radio Host, Author, Journalist, and Commentator promoting new book.
Dennis Prager, one of America’s most respected radio talk show hosts, comes to the Santa Clarita Valley May 12 to present “Happiness is a Serious Problem.” His program, the second installment of Congregation Beth Shalom’s Distinguished Speaker Series, begins at 8 p.m. at Congregation Beth Shalom of the Santa Clarita Valley.
Prager is a Conservative commentator who speaks on topics ranging from personal and social issues, to morality and religion. His radio program has included discussions on whether there is a solution to evil; what matters more, blood or love?; and can a good man go to a striptease show? Prager made headlines last fall for criticizing Keith Ellison, the first Muslim elected to the United States Congress (D-Minn.), over Ellison’s use of the bible of Islam, the Koran, and not the traditional Bible, for his oath of office. Prager’s presentation at CBS, “Happiness is a Serious Problem,” will be based on his book of the same name. The presentation, to be given on the eve of Mother’s Day, will also include a special salute to mothers, and a Q & A session.
All seating at this event will be reserved. General reserved seats are $50.00. However, a limited number of Santa Clarita Patron packages are also available for $120.00. The Patron Package includes a reserved seat at the front of the auditorium, an autographed copy of Prager’s book, Happiness is a Serious Problem, and an exclusive pre-show wine & cheese reception, which will begin at 7:15 p.m. Mr. Prager will attend the reception giving Patron ticket holders an opportunity to meet and speak with the guest of honor.
Autographed copies of Prager’s book will be available for purchase at CBS. His autograph will not be available in any other fashion that evening.
This installment of the CBS Distinguished Speakers Series is sponsored by: L/B/W Insurance and Financial Services, Andy Gump Temporary Site Services, Steve Silver Insurance Services, Accurate Trailer Hitch & Welding, Inc., Pacatudes, M&M Custom Sheet Metal and Helen LaPrairie of Realty Executives.
