Dance Studio 84 On The Business Road Again
Officials from Dance Studio 84 submitted plans earlier this week to the city in a bid to reopen the dance facility, a home and school to many younger dancers in Santa Clarita.
The facility was shut down early February because owner Carla Hunt Smallwood did not comply with building safety and fire standards. The plans may be reviewed by the end of the week, and if approved, the studio will be clear to seek a building permit. Then, after safety alterations are made, it must be inspected before it can be occupied for business again.
