City's Economic Development Manager Resigns
Carrie Rogers made a big impact on City.
The City of Santa Clarita announced yesterday that Carrie Rogers has resigned from her position as Marketing and Economic Development Manager. Rogers’ last day will be Friday, April 27th.
Rogers made numerous contributions to the City since joining in October 2004. Most recently, she put together a successful Enterprise Zone application, which will greatly benefit the City’s residents and businesses.
“Carrie and her staff have been responsible for enhancing the City's business attraction and retention and tourism efforts, and increased filming within with the City,” said City Manager Ken Pulskamp. “While Carrie will be missed, we wish her much success on her new endeavor.”
Rogers has accepted the position of Vice President of Business Assistance and Development with the Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation, where she will be responsible for County-wide business attraction and retention, including Santa Clarita.
