Soccer, Basketball and Softball Seasons Will Start in September
Summer sports are wrapping up and the City of Santa Clarita is preparing for its fall soccer, basketball, and softball leagues. “Adult sports are great for healthy and friendly competition, a fun way to stay in shape, and a wonderful way to meet other sport enthusiasts,” said Cynthia Tarver, sports recreation supervisor. “Adult sports are always a popular recreational activity enjoyed by many Santa Clarita residents.” Adult Soccer is comprised of two leagues, men’s open and co-ed. Priority team’s registration, for those returning, is on Monday, August, 7 and Tuesday, August, 8 from 3 to 9 p.m. New team registration is on Saturday, August 12, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Soccer season begins Sunday, September 10, and runs for 10 weeks. Adult basketball also offers two divisions -- men’s open and women’s open.
