City Looking to Revamp Downtown Newhall
The Santa Clarita City Council will vote Wednesday on a proposal to pump $1 million into renovating downtown Newhall and improving the financial situation in the most history-rich part of the Santa Clarita Valley....
The plan includes a "business feasability study," and a proposal for a parking structure. The vision of downtown Newhall has never been fully acheived, and hopefully with this new plan and corresponding funding, the economy and efficiency of the area will improve. As far as the parking structure, not only will businesses in Newhall benefit, but so will Metrolink riders who use the Newhall station.
