CHP Air Speed Enforcement Draws Residents Attention
KHTS AM-1220 received several calls from listeners residing in the Stonecrest and Sand Canyon sections of the City of Santa Clarita. They were reporting airplanes flying overhead for several hours this morning.
California Highway Patrol Captain Steve Bernard of the local Santa Clarita station verified that the CHP was conducting an airplane speed enforcement program. California Highway Patrol units were on the ground giving out tickets to those people caught speeding. The program went on from approximately 10:00am to Noon.
