Castaic Inmates Caught Along Freeway

At 8:03 this morning, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputies received eyewitness accounts of the escaped inmates walking along the Golden State (I-5) Freeway near the Antelope Valley (SR-14) Freeway, at the Clarence Wayne Dean Memorial Interchange.

Deputies quickly apprehended the suspects, as dozens of reinforcement units arrived.  The police activity continued alongside the freeway (and even partially in the right lane at times) for nearly an hour, as law enforcement officials decided who was going to take the suspects where.
